Guinness Storehouse
Brooks Hotel is conveniently located just a 20-minute walk or a quick bus ride away from the Guinness Storehouse, one of Dublin’s top attractions.
The Guinness Storehouse has been named as the number one tourist attraction in Ireland, having won a variety of different awards since it has opened.
Within The Guinness Storehouse, there are seven floors of interactive experiences that combine the brewing heritage with Ireland’s own history. The experience is a self-guided tour lasting around 1.5 hours, however you can book a guided tour ahead of time. After you have finished learning about the Guinness story, brewing process, and advertising history, you can partake in the tasting experience, where you will be taken on a multi-sensory tasting journey. You can also book 'The Connoisseur Experience' in advance, if you would like to have a more exclusive tasting experience in a private bar. Ending your time at the storehouse, you can go to 'The Guinness Academy', where you will learn how to pour the perfect pint (and drink it after), or head straight to 'The Gravity Bar' for a 360 degree view of the city, and your complimentary pint.
The Guinness Storehouse is open 7 days a week from 9:30am – 7pm, with the last admission being at 5pm. However, throughout July and August there are extended hours from 9am – 8pm, with the last admission being at 6pm. Its busiest days are usually Friday and Saturday.
You can easily reach the iconic brewery by hopping on the number 13 or 123 bus, which will take you directly to the Storehouse in just a few minutes. Whether you prefer to walk through Dublin's charming streets or take a short bus ride, visiting the Guinness Storehouse from Brooks Hotel is hassle-free.
